Established in 1990, J.R. SLEE Building & Joinery Contractors Ltd is a medium sized construction company undertaking work up to the value of £1 million. We pride ourselves on offering a professional service as well as being one of the leading Contractors in Shropshire, undertaking a variety of works within the commercial, domestic and public sectors. We understand the importance of employing quality workmen, and promote using apprentices to ensure that specialist skills within the construction industry continue into the future. Training and development of our employees is also very important and we actively run a training matrix, thus ensuring employees can continually develop their skills.

We are CHAS accredited (Construction Health & Safety) which demonstrates we have a continued commitment to health & safety. We ensure all our employees and sub- contractors have received sufficient health & safety training, ensuring our sites are managed in a safe and well organised manner. All our employees hold CSCS cards and our company have achieved a gold standard certificate. Our employees have also received criminal records checks.

We have a Health & Safety Policy, Environmental Policy, Equal Opportunities Policy and a Quality Policy Statement. We are also members of the Federation of Master Builders, NHBC Registered, Construction Line Registered and Local Authority Approved. Once we have completed a contract, we prepare a Building Manual for the client or architect. This contains certificates, guarantees, instruction manuals and product literature for the works undertaken.
