Detailed description:
Newsome Tools began trading back in 1967 when Jack Newsome sold goods from his van throughout the north of England. Current M.D. Martin Newsome joined his father shortly after and helped to expand the business throughout the rest of the UK and other overseas markets.
There was rapid progress during the 1980’s, with major expansion of the sales force and several projects abroad. Improved catalogues and packaging enabled the company to strengthen its market position.
A recent move to Harleston Street has more than doubled warehouse storage capacity. This new facility allows an improved delivery turn round, provides extra space for additions to the range and the creation of a large showroom area.
