J. and B. Farnaby have spent over 30 years successfully growing turf of the very highest quality. Constantly perfecting their growing and irrigation techniques means that they can maintain the highest level of quality in both product and customer service. At any one time there are over 500 acres of turf being carefully cultivated, which means supply in any quantity from an entire housing estate to a single lawn are instantly available.

At J&B Farnaby we grow only the best rye fescue turf, specifically cultivated for it's hard wearing and durable properties it is ideal for lawns and walkways. The seed types are regularly monitored and tested for purity to make sure we only supply top class seed, everytime! The employees and management of J & B Farnaby are required to undergo rigorous training and successfully complete the Turf Quality Assessment course as certified by the Turfgrass Growers Association As members of the Turfgrass Growers Association, a comprehensive after sales service is offered and maintenance advice is positively encouraged to ensure the life and longevity of the Turf. Our Turf can be lifted at any time of the year, we are not subject to any seasonal conditions except frost. This is due to our exceptional irrigation and drainage techniques. Only the very best seeds as recommended by the Sports Turf Research Institute are used in the preparation of the turf. All our turf is lifted at approximately 18 months old and stacked on pallets of 65 or 75 rolls. This enables us to deliver small or large quantities direct to your site, without any physical handling of the turf. This makes our high quality turf suitable for many applications, including; general lawns, renovation work, golf courses and tees.
