Island Fitness is proud to offer a wide variety of fitness, nutrition and health related services to our growing membership.

Yoga differs from other forms of exercise because there is a conscious involvement of the mind in the movement and placement of the body. The word Yoga is derived from the ancient Sanskrit language, meaning union with God.

A class consists of exercising every part of the body, stimulating the respiratory and circulatory systems. The asanas (poses) are taught in a balanced sequence which involves standing, sitting, lying, inversion, forward and back bending and twisting. Poses are adapted to suit the needs of each student. It is non-competitive and suitable for people of all ages. .

FREE to all new members, these sessions will set you up on a course to attain your aims & goals. Your basic needs & wants will be assessed and an Island Fitness Trainer will design you a basic fitness programme ideal for you.

Island Fitness features a variety of classes per week, from step aerobics to spinning to yoga & pilates all included in your membership.

At Island Fitness, we offer the latest in UV tanning equipment and tanning accelerator lotions all in a professional, fun, friendly and relaxing atmosphere. There is no need to book for sunbeds, simply turn up and tan

The revolutionary technology of Whole Body Vibration (WBV) machines is not only backed by solid science but is being used by many professionals throughout the world. People involved in sports, healthcare, universities, fitness and trainers not to mention the huge number of celebrities are all using and benefiting from Whole Body Vibrations.
