We carefully select & establish direct relationships with each of our artists. Each crafter is paid a fair wage and where possible, we encourage them to employ other individuals from the local community. It is our aim to assist with each crafter's development by supporting and promoting them to manage their own financially viable business.

Passionate about South African craft and inspired by a vision for creating sustainable employment, ISIMO began in 2006 - selling items from a single supplier.

In 2009, we increased our portfolio to several different suppliers and the response from our audience has been overwhelmingly positive with much interest in the contemporary beauty and quality of our work.

We assist with the production and design of many of our products, sourcing and marketing the best of South African craft for both international markets and more recently local game lodges & boutique hotels.
