Detailed description:
Your studies will engage you in an exciting and vigorous program, supervised by our highly motivated and experienced team of tutors, under the direction of our principal Dave Comer. Dave is a MCA Master of Yachts (3, 000 GRT), and has tutored RYA sailing courses for 35 years. From toppers to tall ships, outboards to out-drives we have skippered and tutored them all. The shorebased component of each level is designed to provide a theoretical foundation and understanding, prior to going afloat.
Our new classroom based in Ocean Youth Trust Ireland HQ is full of additional books and nautical equipment that you will find beneficial to your course. The correspondence course is completely flexible. Commence the course at any time.
If you find you are going away on holiday contact the office and take some extra study with you !! OR Take a break for a few months. Problems occur in life which alter plans - not a problem, just take up your studies when you are ready.
