Infrastructure Design Studio specialises in the design of civil engineering infrastructure with an emphasis on sustainability and personal, proactive service to our clients.
The Directors formed the company in 2006, bringing together in excess of 50 years civil engineering experience covering a wide and unusual range of projects, in both urban and rural settings. Our CVs include some major projects like the Eden Project, The National Botanic Garden of Wales, KC Stadium in Hull, The Compass Centre at Heathrow, Stonehenge and many others.

What We Do Best
We feel we are particularly skilled in coordinating all the external works elements of new developments, be they residential, commercial, industrial, leisure or municipal, ensuring that drainage, services, pavings and landscaping are fully integrated and discreetly detailed. Another major skill base is sustainable urban drainage (SUDS) systems, which are becoming the norm on most contemporary developments. We are able to advise at the masterplanning stage as well as through the design and construction phases of a project. We are experienced in the requirements of local authorities, government agencies and utility providers. We have developed a talent for contemporary landscape and public amenity design and have worked with a number of leading landscape designers to achieve high quality co-ordination of landscape with infrastructure and services with the use of environmentally responsive drainage schemes in many cases.
Technical back-up
We use the latest ground modelling, highways and drainage design software, enabling us to optimise designs from functional, aesthetic and economic viewpoints. We run a full CAD network, which is invaluable for the production of 3 dimensional setting out geometry, visualisations etc. and can converse with a variety of other CAD systems making coordination seamless.
