Manchester, UK based architectural salvage dealers, offering a range of reclaimed products from fireplaces to glass and doorknobs Reproduction items also available.

Company description
Since launching in 1984, as predominantly a reclaimed door and fireplace seller, Insitu has grown through many guises but the main focus has always been on architectural salvage and classic design pieces. Now based just on the outskirts of the Deansgate roundabout, in a building formerly a Victorian pub, the Grade 2 listed 252 Chester Road now houses Insitu Architectural Salvage. It is an exciting venue to find high quality and interesting pieces to create unique homes and express individual style.
Proudly named as, “Hands down the best second hand shop in Manchester” by Creative Tourist, Insitu Architectural Salvage is a reclamation business with a difference. Specialising in reclaimed timber flooring, doors, cast iron radiators, stained glass, anything that can can be saved from demolition sites, Insitu has also opened its doors to vintage homeware sellers Planet Vintage Girl and Shabby to Chic Designz and retro clothing retailer Cloche Vintage Clothing to make Insitu a one stop shop vintage emporium.
Sourcing We are happy to source items for customers if you have something special in mind. Pictures really help so, if you can, send us pictures of the sort of thing you are looking for to.
