Improvement and Efficiency West Midlands (IEWM) is the brand name of the West Midlands Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (RIEP).
The West Midlands RIEP was set up in April 2008 following the publication of the National Improvement and Efficiency Strategy by the Department for Communities and Local Government (CLG). There is a RIEP for each of the nine regions in England.
IEWM has been allocated £22 million for 2008-2011 by CLG forming part of a wider £185 million package to all nine partnerships across the country.
