The school provides an extensive range of activities for its pupils. As well as a rich and diverse curriculum planned to offer all twelve national curriculum subjects, the school offers the following extra-curricular activities, all provided free:? football, cricket, netball, handbells, steel pans, drama and a Christian youth club (JAFFA)Other activities available include:? high quality singing instruction and a choir that sings in festivals and school events? peripetic music tuition in string, woodwind and brass ? the availability of an after school youth club on-site ? linking with outside organisations to offer alternative curriculum provision including animation workshops, musical, science and anti-bullying events
Detailed description:
We view Health and Safety as a high priority at Immanuel and St Andrew. The Governors and Staff regard the safety and security of your child at School with the utmost importance. Our site has several entrances and doors and it is important that we keep the site secure at all times.
Immanuel and St Andrew Primary School will take children into the Reception class in September although parents/carers may request in writing to defer entry for their child until the beginning of the term after the child’s fifth birthday, parents/carers may not however defer entry beyond the end of the academic year.
