Ideal Foods (Wales) Limited is a family-run wholesale and distribution company, based in Aberystwyth.
We started our wholesale business in 2001, supplying retailers and caterers throughout Mid and South West Wales with their ice cream requirements. Since then our business has grown, we now supply around 250 customers, and are now adding leading frozen food lines for the caterer, all supplied at a competitive price with our outstanding reliable and dependable delivery service.
Our large, modern cold-stores mean we hold large quantities of the top-selling lines, so you can be confident that when the sun is shining we have the stock when you need it most.
Your order will be delivered in a modern, clean, multi-temperature controlled vehicle with efficient refrigeration systems, and our friendly and helpful drivers will even offer to put your stock in your freezer if you are busy!

We offer all the major ice cream products from Wall's, Nestle, Thornton's, Treats, Cadbury and Mars, and supply Newsagents, Convenience Stores, Supermarkets, Tearooms, Ice Cream Kiosks, Cinemas, Theatres, Coffee Shops, Hotels and Restaurants. A range of scoop ice cream made in Pembrokeshire, available in 5-litre tubs for the caterer. Flavours include Dragon's Delight and Pembrokeshire Promise, alongside the more usual Vanilla, Strawberry, Mint Choc Chip, Toffee Fudge, Raspberry Ripple and Chocolate, plus many more!
Made on the farm in Carmarthenshire with milk from Pedigree Jersey Cows and no artificial flavours, no hydrogenated fats and gluten free.
They are not Italian, so they don't do Tutti Frutti, they are not American, so they don't do Cookie Dough Fudge Crunch, they do do Elderflower Cream, Blackberry & Apple Crumble and Brown Bread (yes, Brown Bread). Available in 120ml tubs, 500ml take home tubs and 4-litre ice cream containers for caterers.
We also sell a range from Wall's Carte d'Or non-dairy, available in 5.5 litre tubs for caterers, and Nestle dairy ice cream (available flavours include Smarties, After Eight and Vanilla with Honeycomb), available in 4.5 litre tubs for caterers.
We sell a selection of biscuit, sugar and waffle cones, along with disposable tubs, spades, Cadbury 99 Flakes and Fudgerydoo Vanilla Fudge Fingers.
We sell a range of Caffe Gioia coffee beans and filter coffee.
