ICONIC INTERNAL DOORS - ESSEX

Internal doors have for many years been sold as separate frames, architraves and doors in a raw state often from different suppliers. This then leaves a site based carpenter to first install the frame, fit the architrave, make all the cut outs for the hinges, locks and handles and then requires a decorator to make good and apply a number of paint or varnish coats. This is a time consuming and uneconomic process adversely affected by site conditions, which all too often results in an inconsistent and poor quality finish.

Iconic doors and frames are produced under controlled factory conditions and come as complete sets, frame, architraves and doors with all necessary cut outs for hardware and all sprayed to a high quality lustre finish. It’s a simple site assembly of the pre-cut, finished components providing a consistent and high level of finish. Hinges and latches are included, handles are optional or left for customers own purchase.

Traditionally internal doors use a variety of hardwoods from various sources that in most cases cannot be certified. Our policy from the outset was to provide a 100% 'FSC Pure' product and this is achieved through using engineered Taeda wood, which is a widely cultivated and dense timber found throughout the Americas. With this outstanding raw material and the unique Iconic finishing process we are able to achieve almost any finish from Oak to dark Wenge without the use of precious hardwoods. The Iconic brand therefore offers the developer and interior designer a bold design statement combined with a luxurious finish without the need to use slow growing and increasingly rare hardwood species.
