Hyams is a Chartered Quantity Surveyors' practice whose office is situated in Ipswich.
Founded in 1955 there are at present three partners, Richard Krajewski, Graham Pooley and Richard Mays and technical and administrative support staff.
All Partners are members of the Royal Institutuion of Chartered Surveyors.
We have a wide range of Clients including Government departments, local authorities, housing associations, banks, retailers, wholesalers, garages, developers and contractors, private schools, doctor's, private domestic clients, etc.
We can provide the necessary experience, competency, professional skills and capacity to service projects encompassing minor works, term commissions and major schemes.
Detailed description:
All projects are partner led and thus our clients have a direct point of contact at all times.
We were the first quantity surveying practice based solely in Suffolk to achieve Quality Assurance. A Quality Management System to BS EN ISO 9001 is operated and a Certificate of Registration from National Quality Assurance was obtained in 1993.
We are on the Constructionline Register of Approved Consultants.
The practice covers all aspects of traditional quantity surveying from feasibility studies through to settlement of final accounts together with the provision of Employer's Agent services, Project Management services and advice on arbitration and disputes, expert witness reports, negotiation of claims and valuations for fire insurance. The practice is also able to provide Planning Supervisor Services as required by the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, 1994.
Not surprisingly much of Hyams' work is repeat business from valued clients whose needs we fulfil; however, we are always eager and pleased to demonstrate to new clients our ability to assist in delivering their schemes on time and within budget.
