A restored threshing barn, this pleasant Northamptonshire stone building boasts a wooden floor, exposed beams and a gallery area, with a maximum capacity of up to 120 people. It's an ideal large function room often used for conferences, team building, parties, wedding receptions, civil wedding ceremonies, barn dances, line dancing and theatre productions. With large wooden framed glass doors overlooking the landscaped lawns and courtyard it's also ideal for events that need the flexibility of indoor and outdoor space.

Civil ceremonies don't include religious content but can be more romantic, personalised and leisurely than in a register office or church. It's really up to you to decide how formal or casual you want the ceremony to be. In addition to the statutory declarations that you make, your own choice of readings, music, poetry and vows can be added to give the day a lovely personal and meaningful feel. Photography and video recording of the complete wedding ceremony is also possible with the prior consent of the attending registrar.
