We understand that Corporate Social Responsibility impacts the whole company from shareholders through to the operatives. We are committed to the protection of the environment and enhanced by the complementary offerings of our sister companies, K&B Crushers, Aasvogel Waste Management and H&S Metals, we are able to accurately forecast waste demolition arisings, recycle over 90% of these arisings and produce less waste to landfill. Hughes and Salvidge are aware of their Corporate Social Responsibility and strive to provide sustainable and environmentally conscious service offerings. We are committed to the protection of the environment and are constantly looking at ways to reduce our carbon footprint. It is Company policy that wherever possible, site generated waste materials are recycled and the use of landfill is minimised to those wastes that cannot be recycled.

Where possible, Hughes and Salvidge aim to recycle over 90% of the materials reclaimed. These are collated and segregated into appropriate areas ready to be processed further. Our sister companies, K&B Crushers, Aasvogel Waste Management and H&S Metals, enable us to provide cost effective recycling solutions for our clients. Hughes and Salvidge are currently working towards Environmental Accreditation (ISO 14001) and with this comes an increase in environmental awareness and training.

Currently the company carries out comprehensive environmental tool box talks and issues site memos whenever there is a need. As members of the NFDC we undertake to comply with industry and British standards and WRAP directives.
