Short profile:

In my practice I am able to combine the best approaches from Osteopathy, Acupuncture and Physiotherapy to effectively treat a wide range of conditions. My decision to train in Osteopathy and Acupuncture and complete many courses in Physiotherapy and Orthopaedics, gives you the maximum chance of making a full and lasting recovery from whatever condition you might present with, be it back pain, neck pain, sciatica, nerve entrapment, muscle overstrain or health problems diverse as dizzyness, vertigo, insomnia or facial pain.

Detailed description:

On first qualifying from the British School of Osteopathy in 1986 I gained experience working in numerous practices around the Midlands area. I then set up my own Practice in Bridgnorth in 1988 followed a short time later by the establishment of a Practice in Wolverhampton. I went back to college to study Traditional Chinese Acupuncture for three years at the British College of Acupuncture where I qualified in 1997. I have been combining the two therapies ever since.

I am registered with both the General Osteopathic Council and the British Acupuncture Council. Osteopaths are trained as complementary primary health care practitioners and patients often seek treatment from an osteopath without referral from a GP. Since the Osteopaths Act in 1993, Osteopathy, it's standards of education and the conduct and competence of it's health care professionals have been regulated by the General Osteopathic Council.

Osteopathic training consists of a four-year degree course and graduates are required by law to register with The General Osteopathic Council and have adequate medical malpractice insurance.
