HSP Consulting was established in 1986 by Managing Director, Howard Pratt. Initially based within Nottingham city centre at Byron House on College Street, HSP relocated to modern accommodation on the Mushroom Farm Business Park conveniently situated in proximity to Junction 26 of the M1 motorway. The office has ample car parking for both staff and visitors. Building on recent success the company has opened an office within central London in order to provide a better level of service for our growing number of city based clients. Many of the current staff have been with the company for several years and continued growth has seen a number of valuable additions to the team which now boasts a wealth of experience capable of meeting the demands of the industry. Ground Investigations : Desktop Studies, Feasibility and Ground Investigation Reports produced on a wide variety of schemes and sites throughout the U.K.

Environmental and Remediation Reports: Carried out to current legislation and industry requirements. Value Foundation Engineering: Producing economic solutions by challenging the norm and developing optimum foundation designs. Structural Steelwork assessments: Using the latest 3-D Analysis for design and detailing, supplemented with the complete range of cold rolled sections. Composite Floor analysis, Westok and Fabsec beams and Slimdeck Slimfloor programmes. Reinforced concrete framework: Design and detailing incorporating insitu, pre-cast and composite elements.

Multi-storey Masonry designs: Utilising progressive collapse assessments, reinforced masonry and cladding systems. Structural appraisals: Carried out for existing buildings including industrial, multi-storey commercial and residential, hotels and leisure facilities and historic buildings. Refurbishments: Experience ranging from the re-development of listed buildings to the extension of many city centre properties adding between 3 and 12 storeys.
