Wide ranges of extra curricular activities are provided to support the standard curriculum. Over the last year they have included:NetballFootballGardeningGames clubGood news clubDramaKnittingGirls ICTFamily ICT Web pagesSporting tournamentsCycling trainingOur choir perform termly concerts and have sung within the community. Our strong musical tradition is also supported by opportunities to learn violin, cello, cornet, guitar, woodwind, percussion and recorders. These make up our thriving 40 strong orchestra, which along with other musicians have just completed their 3rd Annual Concert.Year 5 undertake an adventurous activities residential, whilst Year 6 spend four days exploring the Durham area. Local artists and musicians visit regularly, as part of Creative Context and Howden Festival.
