Perfectly located for a short break in Newquay, Hotel Sunnyside is a fun and upbeat budget hotel offering a range of facilities and a great choice of affordable private and en-suite rooms for single travellers, couples, and groups of all ages.

Positioned just above Towan Beach in the heart of Newquay town centre, our location boasts inspirational views across Newquay bay and the awe-inspiring Atlantic coastline.

Detailed description:

With only a two minute walk to the main shops, bars, and restaurants, and only a short stroll from the beach, Newquay ’s winning formula of sun/fun/sea/surf are all on your doorstep.

Our sea view rooms are positioned at the front of the hotel offering specatular views along the North Cornish coast. These rooms are the biggest at the hotel, sleeping 2 people in comfort with a huge super king size bed (or two single beds if preferable).

    A great bet for cheap accommodation in Newquay. Stayed over in August 2010 as part a 'mature' stag weekend with 11 others (aged 30-60). We were after a place right in the centre of Newquay near all the bars, but at a good price to suit everyone in the group. We booked a combination of bunk bed rooms and single rooms, for the youngsters and the older guys respectively. We found the hotel perfect- very clean, a sound night's sleep, a hot shower, good breakfast. All you can ask for £25 each a night (although think there was a supplement for the single rooms). The location is perfect. Staff were great- friendly and welcoming. I would have no hesitation in recommending to younger couples looking for a cheap few days by the sea and to best men/women looking to book a stag weekend or hen weekend in newquay. They do ask for a deposit, but you can understand the logic when taking in groups. That’s not a criticism, just a friendly piece of advice! Overall, you can’t fault it.

    We stayed as a small group at the Sunnyside Hotel for a short surfing break. This hotel is great and in a superb position, very close to the beach and just around the corner from town centre, with a number of shops, bars and clubs to choose from.

    Although the hotel is central to all of Newquays entertainment, the street the hotel is on is very quiet, so there was no worry of noise and we all had a great night’s sleep.

    The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, the hotel itself very clean and had all the facilities we required. Our rooms were very clean and breakfast was great.

    I would recommend this hotel for any guest looking for a bargain, its ideal for singles, groups or young couples. I will be re-booking this hotel the next time I visit Newquay.
