We are a small publishing company specialising in the arts, history, period houses and gardens. We produce books, magazines and websites and are currently developing a new catalogue of very readable and beautifully illustrated softcover books at very reasonable prices. Our latest series, of which two books are already available, concentrates on the life and works of the British Suffragette, artist and peace campaigner Sylvia Pankhurst.
Detailed description:
We are based in north-east London near Epping Forest, on the border with Essex. Epping Forest's indigenous tree is the graceful but sturdy hornbeam – hence our name. We began in 1995 as a family business specialising in house magazines and short-run books. We also have a strong involvement in education and training for the publishing industry.
We produce books, magazines, websites and other items.
