Hopwood Hall College has been providing locally based higher education and professional programmes for many years. Many of our successful students have told us about the benefits of studying in the Hopwood Hall environment. Because our classes are smaller than those in universities, our students receive expert teaching and excellent support from tutors with better access to resources.
Students also feel that they are part of a small and closely knit community. They stay the course, don’t drop out and succeed with their chosen qualification.
To support progression to even higher levels of study, the college has a number of partnerships with higher education institutions.
Detailed description:
The Rochdale Campus is in the heart of Rochdale, 12 miles (19 km) from Manchester. Rochdale bus station is a five minute walk away. The majority of the courses that are taught here are vocational skills-based courses in hairdressing, beauty and holistic therapy, catering, construction, art & design.
However the construction department will move to a new purpose built technology centre at the Middleton campus in readiness for the start of the new academic year in September 2011. Facilities at the Rochdale Campus include: Our popular training restaurant “The Cottons” – is open to students, staff and the general public at very competitive prices.
“The Image” – our hairdressing and beauty training salon – which offers to the students, staff and public a variety of treatments performed by qualified teaching and vocational staff.
