HOME FROM HOME CHILDRENS DAY NURSERY

Security and safety are paramount to us. Firstly, we have a high staff to children ratio, to ensure the best care and safety for your child. The entrance to the nursery is secured with a video entry system, with an intercom and buzzer. There is a CCTV system in place, monitoring the front of the nursery and the rear play area. The nursery is also equipped with webcams which allows parents/carers access during the day.

This system also enables the children's activities to be monitored from the office. The Nursery is housed in a large detached Victorian residence, which has been renovated to accommodate 57 children in a spacious, well equipped and homely environment. There is provision for 21 babies across two rooms, including milk room and separate changing facilities. The toddlers have full use of the toddler room, with access to the outside play area.

The 2's are cared for in the spacious area on the first floor, while the 3's are cared for in the pre-school room in the spacious area on the second floor. All areas have separate toilet facilities and all the children share the large dining room at meal times, and for some activities, which allow the children to work and play together. Outside there is a large grassed area, bordered by plants and trees, where the children can enjoy the climbing equipment and slides. There is also a hard play area for bikes and trikes, which has been covered with a spongy surface to protect the children if they should fall.
