Ofsted registered Childminder located in central Leeds. The childminder’s name is Holly Forquilha and she is the parent of one child. She has lived in Little London for 8 years, having moved to Leeds to attend university.
Holly works closely with the local Sure Start Children’s Centre in Little London and shares good practice and training where possible. She is the Chair of the Advisory Board at the Children’s Centre and has a good working relationship with Nas, the Centre Manager. Holly is also a Breastfeeding Peer Support Counsellor and happy to support mothers who are breastfeeding and wishing to return to work (She has experience of this, having returned to work part time when her daughter was 5 months old).
Detailed description:
Holly has completed the Introduction to Childminding training run by Leeds City Council and is Ofsted registered. Holly also holds an up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certificate.
Holly aims to make the setting a fun, friendly and homely atmosphere for both children and adults alike whilst also giving each child the individual attention they deserve. Working to the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, learning through play is actively encouraged and lots of time is spent outside and with messy play – painting, sticking and so on.
