Lynne is a professional artist, as well as being the UK’s leading female community mural artist. Graduating from the prestigious Falmouth School of Art in Cornwall in 1993, Lynne has worked as an Art Gallery Exhibitions Officer and also within the education system as a Head of Art and Design, a Head of Graphics and a co-ordinator for Advanced Art and Design Studies. After teaching and lecturing extensively in Art and Design, Lynne set up Hollingsworth Designs Ltd in 2002.
As a renowned mural artist, Lynne coordinates small and large-scale arts projects across the UK, working with a diverse range of participants in a variety of education and community-based settings. She has worked on many large-scale public arts projects with a range of high-profile clients including Westfield, Balfour Beatty and the National Trust.
Lynne actively supports the Creative Industries and is a creative consultant and a well-respected creative industries business advisor and mentor.

Lynne can be commissioned to create murals and deliver arts projects for schools and businesses. She strongly supports Arts in Education and delivers a range of educational and community arts-based projects. Lynne offers you the opportunity to work with her as a professional artist to create an interior or exterior murals for your specific area. She provides exciting, inclusive and collaborative mural projects where participants learn about teamwork, designing, painting techniques, and processes. Each project culminates in the completion of a high quality mural that enhances specific spaces and becomes a talking point for pupils, staff, visitors and the community. Exterior projects take place between May and October. Every space is an individual and personal environment, with its décor reflecting personal tastes.
Interiors have a function: some rooms need to reflect a different mood to others, whether it's a place for work or for total relaxation. Lynne at Hollingsworth Designs offers an exclusive mural decoration service where a specific space or room can take on a new identity, reflecting a new focal point or evoking a specific mood. With our design service, any theme, style or size is considered. As part of the service, Lynne liaises with the client personally to come up with a specific image and style for a specific area. Alternatively you can inform her of the specific image you want.
