HOB GREEN

The dining room, with its theme of waterfowl and a colour scheme of green, comfortably accommodates diners on tables of 2 to 6 on a normal day -to- day basis. However, larger tables for parties of 8 to 12 can be catered for within the "Butler's Pantry", a cosy, self-contained room next to the dining room. This room has a view of the herbaceous border, just one feature of the consistent award-winning gardens.

Larger parties can be held within the main dining room up to a total of 40 diners, or 50 if the "Butler's Pantry" is required too.

Each room contains direct dial telephone, colour television, hair dryer, tea/coffee making facilities and well stocked mini-bar and luxury consumables in the bathroom. There is also WiFi available in the hotel.

All of our dishes are created using local ingredients from small family suppliers and they are complemented with our own home-grown fruits and vegetables from the Victorian kitchen garden supplied by Adrian Reeve, our Head Gardener. Adrian works closely with Head Chef Chris Taylor to acquire the varieties of vegetables that he likes to incorporate into many of his dishes and thus a seasonal availability of Garden produce influences the menus here at Hob Green. As with all gardens fruits or vegetables all seem to mature at the same time, and so Chris applies this abundance to fill his larder with all manner of homemade preserves and chutneys etc. for use throughout the year.In the near future we shall be able to supply our diners with jars to take home.

Whether it be a corporate banquet, shooting party, conference or any family celebration, Hob Green Hotel and Restaurant can cater for up to 40 guests with an extra 10 guests in the Butler's Pantry.

Seating can be arranged in either an informal style or on one large table. If you require even less formal seating requirements, then we can cater for your party with a hot or cold buffet-style function where we use the other public rooms in conjunction with the restaurant.
