Highlands Surgery provide a Phlebotomy Clinic for our own patients. All women should have a postnatal check with the Doctor approximately six weeks after their baby is born.
Detailed description:
We have a special interest in those with a high risk of heart disease. This includes those with a family history or known high blood pressure. For immunisation against Tetanus, Diptheria and Polio, a booster is required every ten years Annual Influenza vaccination clinics are arranged for the over 65s and patients with a recognised condition that places them at risk. Clinic times and dates are displayed nearer to the time A once only pneumococcal vaccination is also available for patients of high risk
