For the past two decades I’ve provided a freelance copywriting service to design, marketing and advertising agencies and the wider business community, supplying concept and copy which has helped some of the world’s best known names and brands to define and develop their corporate, business and consumer messages across print, web and multimedia.

My experience of marketing and the media has given me an intuitive feel for business, agency and consumer needs alike. I bring fresh thinking to campaigns above, below and through the line which enables organisations to communicate with intelligence and imagination and inspires, persuades, entertains and challenges audiences throughout the world.

When Evelyn Waugh admitted to “putting the words down and pushing them about a bit”, he wasn't far from the truth. But there's more to copywriting than polished prose, a string of buzzwords, a catchy headline or a clever turn of phrase.

At its simplest I come up with words and ideas – a versatile resource which businesses and creative agencies can tap into as and when required, whether to brainstorm concepts, research and write from scratch, provide quick copy to meet a pressing deadline or appraise and edit existing content.
