Our story began in 1860 when Henry Diaper commenced business as a public warehousekeeper renting vaults in the famous Albert Dock warehouses on the bustling Liverpool waterfront. Nearly 50 years later a private Parliamentary Bill was passed empowering Diapers to issue negotiable and transferable Warrants for products stored in its warehouses and even today these key fiscal instruments continue to be traded on the World Commodity Markets
