HENRI PLAG

Henri Plag provides training for riders on her horses and also for owner riders. She specialises in achieving in the rider a supple, light and well balanced position, which then allows light aids to be used to the best effect. This helps riders of all abilities and goals, riding in a variety if disciplines to achieve harmony with their horse. She is equally at home training nervous beginner riders and accomplished competition riders, all to a high standard. Nervous riders in particular find their learning process is uniquely geared to their own needs and at their own speed. Horses are trained sympathetically, taking care to allow them to achieve true engagement and balance, which results in active, yet happy and safe, rides.

This training method leads to substantial improvements in competition results for dressage, show jumping and cross country, as well as endurance riding. Behavioural training is available on an individual basis, including teaching horses to load into wagons and trailers. Horses trained to load, can then be loaded single handed and will travel more quietly, due to being more coordinated. I now also offer bespoke handling sessions, so riders can add handling skills to their riding skills. These are available as stand alone sessions or can be incorporated into riding sessions.

Henri Plag provides bespoke personal training to improve interpersonal skills, using horses as a teaching tool. These sessions are useful for both, individuals as well as corporate teams. Henri recommends horse feeds supplements and would be happy to discuss your horses requirements.
