E BaxterI arrived at Hendy Ford in Cosham and I must admit, parking was not the easiest. However once I found a space I was so glad I came here!
I was greeted by David Beckhurst, who was extremely polite and asked if I required any help, I told him that I was just looking. He said that if I needed anything, he would be happy to help me.
I was looking at the Ford Focus, and was having a little trouble with the seating position. David spotted me from across the showroom and came to help me.
I am very cautious of car sales men, being a single woman. However without being pushy he told me how the seat worked and I was able to adjust the seat the way I wanted it.
We then went on a test drive, he answered all the questions that I had about the car and made me feel at ease (I’m not the most confident driver).
Once we got back to the showroom he went through the different options available, and I settled on the Zetec in Moondust Silver. We talked for sometime about the pro’s and con’s of diesel, but he explained with the amount of mileage I do (10,000 a year) it was not worth paying the extra for a diesel engine.
I am so happy with my Focus and the way I was treated, I was kept informed every step of the way. He also phoned me a few weeks after collecting the car to make sure I was happy with everything.
Verdict
Well worth a visit, if you are looking for a New Ford. David is the one with all the “Thank you” cards on his desk!
