Detailed description:
The Early Years at Heatherton provide a strong foundation for young children starting a wonderful journey of friendship, discovery and achievement. The planned curriculum for our little ones is an active play programme that recognises that learning is a social and interactive process between children, adults, materials and the environment. Most importantly, we believe that being happy at school is essential.
Heatherton girls work, learn and play together in a spirit of co-operation and friendly competition. They learn independence and team work in equal measures and find new confidence as their achievements are celebrated. Our small class sizes, expert teaching and outstanding pastoral care give Heatherton girls a great advantage.
Specialist teachers in the Lower School teach music, PE and French.
