I have many years of experience of working both in private practice and for the NHS, including specialist diabetic and rheumatoid arthritis clinics. I offer a professional and friendly service treating a wide range of foot problems ranging from general foot care, including simple nail care and removal of corns and callouses, to more specialist treatment for in-growing toenails and diabetic footcare. I am also qualified to administer local anaesthetics. What is the difference between a Chiropodist and a Podiatrist? Essentially, they are the same. Podiatry, however, is the more modern name and reflects the greater scope of practice available these days. It is also the title used in other countries such as the USA and Australia.
