Short profile:
Dichroic Glass is a multi-layer coating placed on glass by using a highly technical vacuum deposition process. Quartz Crystal and Metal Oxides are vaporised onto the surface of the glass in the form of a crystal structure.
Detailed description:
Derek has worked in Stained and Recycled glass for many years.
The colours used in his work is strongly influenced by the sea and the beautiful country-side around his South Devon home .
The addition of Dichroic Glass has given an added dimension to the range.
