HAYES PARK SCHOOL

Learners are provided with a broad, balanced and creative curriculum. This emphasis has been supported by flexible planning, imaginative ICT and an inclusive approach. The 'Take One Picture Week' at the National Gallery typified this approach. Trips and residential visits are used to support the curriculum and provide learners with first-hand experience. Theatre groups, sports stars and visitors also provide a stimulus for learning. Pupils also have access to a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including the following: *  Art *  Athletics *  Choir *  Computer *  Cricket *  Gardening *  Golf *  Gymnastics *  Hockey *  Knitting *  Netball *  Recorders *  Soccer *  Spanish *  Steel drums An after-school club also provides extended provision for our learners and is open until 6.00pm. Holiday clubs regularly operate and a breakfast club is planned.
