Detailed description:
Projects range from multi-million pound power generation projects to small housing developments; from prediction of noise from large airport developments to assessment of noise in the workplace.
We have particular expertise in noise from wind turbines and wind farm sites having worked on well over 500 projects in the UK, mainland Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the USA. As well as our offices in south-west England and Wales, we opened an office as a joint venture with Australian Power and Water (APW) in Sydney in 2002 to respond to the rapid growth of wind power in Australia. This arrangement has now come to an end due to the departure from APW of a key staff member. From January 2007 our Australian work will therefore be managed from the UK until such time as we are able to put other arrangements in place.
