Historical records show that Hastings House in Warrior Square has been on the map as a guest house since 1855. It has seen the glory days of St. Leonards as one of the most fashionable seaside resorts of its time and witnessed the steady decline of the seaside resorts that spread throughout the past half century. Nowadays, the winds have once again shifted and St. Leonards-on-Sea is dusting itself off to become ‘the’ place to be along the South Coast of England.
