Harrow Green began trading in 1983, offering a commercial and domestic moving and storage service. Today Harrow Green leads its sector: in expertise, experience, services, scope and resource. From its beginnings as a London-based commercial removals company in the early 1980s, Harrow Green has expanded its services by responding to the needs of clients relocating and managing significant changes to their working environment. One of the most important steps forward at that time was the creation of the first specialist division to help manage IT moves. By solving problems for some major clients, Harrow Green was able to integrate IT engineering support into its move management services and develop a reputation in the market for added value and responsiveness.

In the 1990s Harrow Green's records management division similarly grew out of the need to manage the multiple storage and access requirements of businesses moving and reorganising. By this time the business of commercial relocation had become a much wider and holistic programme of solutions for businesses moving, changing and growing. Harrow Green has been particularly supportive of the emerging facilities management industry. Through the 1990s the company continued to expand its remit by challenging the then dominant systems furniture supply market and creating a bespoke and independent furniture supply service, a service that has since grown to become today’s Interior Solutions division for office and workplace design and fit-out.

Over the past decade, Harrow Green has widened it geographical reach to all parts of the UK through its regional centres. And it has consolidated the services that have grown out of its relocation business to offer a complete management service covering business relocation, IT infrastructure moves, records management and document scanning, interior design and construction and independent furniture supply.
