We provide a full range of hospital services and act as the first contact for access to additional specialist services from other health care providers.
We are proud of our low waiting times, excellent standards of infection control and prevention and high quality facilities which support the nationally-recognised good performance of our clinical services.
In October 2008 and 2009 (the most recent assessments avaiable), The Care Quality Commission assessed the Trust and gave us a double excellent rating - for quality of services and use of resources.

Best Performing in Maternity - our maternity service is better in a number of areas than services in most other organisations; Excellent management of the hospital’s budget and resources; Excellent performance in Admissions Management and Diagnostic Services; Good performance in Medicines Management; We also scored full marks following the Commission’s assessments of:
