Harpers offer a mobile wood chipping and shredding service throughout the UK. We are currently operating 12 mobile units, including chiparvestors, shredders, tubgrinders and screens, at our customer's locations throughout the UK. All of the machines that we use are for high volume production and many have capacities in excess of 1, 000 tonnes per day. Industries that use our mobile service range from green waste, panel board, pulp and paper, to energy generation. If you're business needs require large-scale production of wood fuels, wood chips or mulches, then we have the machines and expertise to perform the operation for you, in a cost effective manner. We offer virgin woodchip or 100% recycled organic material, both of which are suitable for indoor and outdoor arenas.

The arena surfacing is kind on your horse as it is sound underfoot causing a minimum of lateral movement on hoof impact. Importing 50% of our energy needs illustrates we must introduce new habits of using renewable sources in place of traditional fossil fuels. We are increasingly dependent on fuel and natural gas imports, as was highlighted in the Commission's Green Paper on Security of Energy Supply. The European Union now imports 50% of its energy needs. Around 2030, this figure is forecast to rise to 70% with an increasing share for fossil fuels.
