Main aims of organisation: Our aim is to empower people experiencing mental health problems and/or emotional distress. To work towards the development and maintenance of a comprehensive mental health service that meets needs and aspirations and promotes mental health awareness in our community. Service provided: Befriending Service (Latton Bush Office - 01279 421308 Kim Clark) This service provides consistency, support, friendship and empowerment to our isolated members through 1-2-1 regular visit with an appropriately trained volunteer. (Referrals service only - must be made by your professional mental health worker).
Spurriers House Social Centre (Town Park - Christine Usher 01279 445387) This service is offered on an open door policy. We provide a variety of activities and groups at the request of our clients. Opening times: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday 11am to 3pm.
