Having worked closely with respected therapists, consultants and doctors in the prestigious Harley Street, W1 area, Andrea Steinlechner and Verity Barltrop decided to establish the Harley Street Acupuncture Clinic.
We have a deep understanding of patients needs in a very broad area of medical expertise, including Sports injury, musculoskeletal pain, stress, anxiety, insomnia, digestive complaints, fertility, pregnancy, gynaecological and menstrual disorders. Our treatments are aimed not only at your main presenting condition but also the underlying root cause. We offer bespoke treatments and advice to each individual patient.
Our consultants have post graduate training. Acupuncturists are members of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and physiotherapists members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP).

Acupuncture is an ancient therapy which is increasingly used in the modern world. It can safely be used in combination with conventional treatments to aid the body’s own healing processes.
Western scientific research is increasingly demonstrating effectiveness of acupuncture for treating a wide variety of conditions.
From a biomedical viewpoint, acupuncture is believed to stimulate the nervous system, activating the body’s self-regulating homeostatic systems, stimulating its natural healing abilities and promoting physical and emotional wellbeing.
Physiotherapists use "dry needle acupuncture" to treat myofascial trigger points.
