Harlequin Fancy Dress is based in Maidstone, the county town of Kent. We are located in the town centre just off the main shopping street in a unique shopping arcade called The Courtyard.
We are a family run business which was established in 1998. We started with just 300 hire costumes which we bought from shop that was closing down. The venture was intended to be part time, but as our first Halloween came closer we could not believe how many people wanted to dress up.
Detailed description:
After a successful Halloween & New Year we put all efforts into buying additional costumes and also started to stock a few wigs & accessories. Things went from strength to strength with both the hire and retail side of the business. We now have over 3000 high quality costumes for hire & over 4000 retail lines in our shop. Our customers now travel the whole of Kent & the South East to visit us for their party and event needs.
