Located towards Selby, to the east of Leeds, our cat boarding at Hillam is situated in a new purpose- built cattery in a converted brick barn, directly adjacent to our living quarters.
The cattery was established in April 2008 and, in the first year of operating had attracted almost 200 customers. The cattery initially opened in Harewood, North Leeds before moving to Hillam, in May 2009.
Detailed description:
My name is David Francis and I am the owner of the cattery. My aim is to run a first class ‘hotel’ for cats. The cat ‘hotel’ is clean, warm and safe and the ‘rooms’ are all furnished to a high standard. The cattery is directly adjacent to our house and situated in a beautiful secluded garden.
The cats are checked and cared for throughout the day. I am also happy to look after other animals –we have a parrot and two guinea pigs on the books as well as the cats. I am an animal lover and have kept animals, including dogs, horses and birds all my life.
I can assure you that your cats will be well cared for while you are away and looked after as if they were my own.’
