HAPIHIKE

HAPIHIKE

Updated more than 6 months ago

Short profile:

hapihike is a wool product from lowland Oxfordshire sheep. After the sheep have been shorn, the wool is carefully cleaned and prepared by Curlew weavers in Wales using a process which retains some of the natural lanolin oil. It is then infused with pure peppermint oil which has both anti inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

Detailed description:

We pack the wool into recyclable plastic containers which are light to carry and ideal for tucking into a pocket or day sack.

hapihike has been trialled and tested over many miles by both experienced and novice walkers. It has been used to good effect on the Inca trail and the Annapurna circuit.

We believe it is better to prevent a blister than having to cure one. Using hapihike will prevent a seemingly trivial problem becoming a crippling one.
