Hamstead brewing centre has been a family owned and operated company since 1984, in 1993 we expanded and moved to our current location where we built our warehouse and began producing cider. We then also developed our range of Brewgas bar equipment, opened a specialist off licence section and our coffee department. We also developed what has generally been called the best home beer making pack available with York Brewery.

We then opened our own winery. We still believe in the same values as when we opened all those years ago, quality, value and service, with a lot of our regular visitors to our retail store being recommeded to us by their friends. We hold regular open evenings believed to be the biggest in the country, at the last one we had over 80 different drinks available to try. We will only recommend products that we believe in and our aim is to help you to produce the best possible quality drinks at home so that you will want to tell all your friends about us and this wonderfull hobby. Our retail store is open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5.30 pm We are also members of the Heart of England Fine Food association
