Detailed description:
Halifax Primary School has its own swimming pool, and all pupils have the opportunity to learn to swim as part of their curriculum.We have the use of a large sports hall and extensive outdoor sporting facilities, on a daily basis, which are timetabled to be used by all pupils.There is an after school netball club, as well as football for older children.For shorter blocks we also had science and maths clubs.An outside agency runs cello and violin lessons for key stage two pupils who wish to participate. There is also a school music group available.Every year group has a field trip of an appropriate kind at least once a year. In the lower age groups this would be short local visits for example, while in years 5 and 6 it takes place in the form of residential field trips for three days
