We have New Forest Cottages sleeping up to 38 people, perfect for families and friends to enjoy New Forest holidays and weekends together.
We offer weekend breaks, 2 or 4 night midweek breaks, full weeks and longer, giving you the flexibility to plan the break around your needs. With lower minimum booking requirements and better availability, even smaller groups are able to enjoy our larger cottages for midweek breaks.
Detailed description:
New Forest Cottage is perfect for a large group of family or friends to spend a weekend or short break together. All guests, up to 30 people, can dine at one big table together, and relax in the huge vaulted lounge afterwards. The building is full of character and will make a memorable stay for everyone in the group.
The location here is second to none if you want to truly experience the New Forest first hand. Next to the Rhinefield House Hotel, on Rhinefield Ornamental Drive, Rhinefield Bothy is set in an amazing part of the forest that adults and children alike will love. At these big new Forest cottages there’s over an acre of garden, directly adjoining the forest itself where you can walk for miles without seeing a car or a road. The forest cycleways run from here too, so bring the bikes or hire from the village for a unique break. Plenty of bedrooms and again and all can dine together.

Peacock Cottage -A DUMP!
Mark Lord mark@aztecoils.co.ukWe booked Peacock Cottage for my wife's birthday. The place was filthy, mouldy cheap bedding, untreated filthy kitchen floor, scratched and chipped crockery. An absolute disgrace.
This company should rename itself Halcyon Holiday Hovels to give potential customers a more accurate description of what they are getting.
An absolute RIP OFF.

- Mrs S Roberts: Cannot believe this company has the affrontary to offer their properties for hoiliday homes. Wanted to book my family for a familky reunion so decided to look at their Walkford "cottages". Renwick Lodge is in a very bad state and is not anywhere anyone would want to stay..for five minutes let alone five days. The road is overpopulated with ars parked either side on the road, children were playing in the road and the garden very unkempt. These people are misrepresenting the quality and should not be allowed in the holiday business. Shocking!!

Louise ParkerBooked with these people 2 years ago, and also last year. First time was great, but second time, they were difficult to deal with, never answered communications and although the cottage was ok, felt the customer service could have been far better.
