GX Industrial Design Engineers are experienced in the design & development of instruments, machines & products into manufacture. From the earliest concepts through model making, prototyping and development ready for volume production. Experience that involves a wide variety of production processes & materials. GX mechanical engineers have many years experience in a multitude of different product areas and have particular expertise in the following: Impact resistance, manufacturing equipment, high speed mechanisms, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, optics, high speed mechanical dynamics analysis, value engineering, electromagnetic interference, screening, IP ratings & international standards. GX designs and develops electronic products providing continuous support from initial design concepts through prototype and preproduction stages to product launch and manufacture.

Specialists in analogue and microprocessor controlled systems and instruments. The use of a wide range of processors from basic 80C31 and PIC16 through to high performance Pentium and DSPs allows the design to take advantage of the speed, power and cost parameters which best suit the application. Sensor interfaces are frequently required to convert real world measurements into electronic signals for data processing. Results can be displayed through a variety of means from pass/fail LEDs to custom LCDs.

GX utilise industrial and advanced design engineering computer based technologies to move swiftly from a product idea into production. From basic sketches ideas are developed using 3D CAD including ProEngineer and Solidworks. The 3D data is then used to produce rapid prototype models. Rapid prototyping techniques include stereolithography (SLA), selective laser sintering(SLS), fused deposition modelling (FDM) and rapid metal castings (MPA 30).
