Detailed description:

The healing properties of herbs and plants have been harnessed for hundreds of years. Unbeknown to many, Anglesey in north Wales is a proficient provider of a vast array of these herbs.

For over twenty years, Anglesey produced balms have gained a reputation for really working, however, until recently, they were one of Wales’ best kept secrets.

In the summer of 2006 the potential of introducing the balms to a wider audience was conceived. The name Gwdihw, pronounced ‘Goody Hoo’, comes from the Welsh for Owl, which the Celts commonly associated with wisdom, which seems very appropriate as we’re tapping into nature’s bounty.
