Let us tell you a little bit about the River Wey, the River Thames and how you can enjoy them from our base in Guildford. There has been boating on the River Wey for over a century, since the Leroy brothers established punt and skiff hire at Farncombe (near the head of the navigation) and here in Guildford, at the Old Boat House as it is now known. In the 1950's, the business moved round the corner to accommodate passenger boats and - when the Chase family took over in 1974 - holiday boats too.
